Overview
In this role, you will lead export controls and sanctions compliance for a manufacturing group across EMEA, India, and the US. You’ll drive ICP improvements, audits, and training while partnering with engineering to translate regulatory requirements into actionable processes. The position offers global exposure, cross-functional impact, and opportunities to shape a scalable compliance program. You will work with senior leaders to navigate evolving trade controls and support digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Lead regional export controls and sanctions compliance program for 37 entities in EMEA and India
- classify military, dual-use, ECCN, and SCOMET items
- advise engineering and product teams on export control requirements
- drive continuous improvement of Internal Compliance Programs (ICP)
- conduct/comanage compliance audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions
- engage with authorities on export compliance topics, including audits and disclosures
- manage export control training program for entities
- strategize regulatory developments and assess business impact
- support automation and GTM projects
- partner with stakeholders to ensure compliant, business-friendly processes
Key requirements
