Global Audit Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead internal audit reviews and help strengthen risk management and controls across Diageo’s global business. You’ll work within the Global Audit team to deliver end-to-end assurance, insights, and governance improvements through cross-functional collaboration. The position combines project management, data-driven analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support a robust control environment. Based in London with international travel, it offers the chance to influence operations in Europe and beyond while developing others on the CARE team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex internal audit assurance reviews with end-to-end project delivery
• Provide insights to improve operations, governance, controls and risk management
• Synthesize data and translate findings into meaningful risk insights
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Europe and global functions as a trusted business partner
• Contribute to personal and team development; participate in non-audit CARE initiatives
• Be based in London HQ with office visits as needed; travel internationally
• Support governance, risk and compliance agendas across the business

Key requirements

• CA with certifications in IIA/CIA as an advantage
• 4-8 years of experience in internal/process/SOX auditing, risk consulting, or process improvement
• Knowledge of audit methodologies, COSO frameworks, and project management
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with root-cause analysis and structured presentation of findings
• Experience with data analysis tools and data modelling
• Relationship management and business partnering skills with operating management
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels
