In this role you will provide proactive administrative support to a busy Court of Protection team in Bristol, helping 22 fee-earners deliver high-quality client service. You will manage a varied workload, maintain accurate records, and handle a range of client-related activities, with opportunities to contribute to some fee-earner duties. Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing post and liaise with Facilities Management
  • Collate enclosures and prepare correspondence for clients and third parties
  • Open, close and archive client files
  • Maintain filing and e-filing systems with secure, accessible records
  • Support maintenance of client records and in-house databases
  • Prepare correspondence and communicate professionally with clients, service providers, authorities, and other organisations
  • Coordinate client visits and prepare documentation for Deputies and fee earners
  • Assist with annual client reports and accurate record-keeping processes
  • Process requests related to wills, deeds and other stored documents
  • Support payment administration and banking-related activities as required
  • Make purchases and arrange services for clients’ daily living needs
  • Review and manage client memberships and subscriptions
  • Act as first point of contact for clients, handling enquiries professionally
  • Provide additional admin and secretarial support across the wider team
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities with high service standards
