Overview
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead end-to-end energy contract programs in EMEA, driving cross-functional delivery and strategic outcomes. You’ll enable PPA delivery, contractual compliance, and dispute resolution while steering budget analytics and regulatory adaptation. You apply AI/ML to automate contract intake and portfolio workflows, define KPIs, and orchestrate changes during database and tooling migrations. You collaborate with diverse stakeholders to plan requirements, manage risks, and communicate with executives, shaping scalable, data-driven energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end programs for EMEA energy contracts, tariffs, and Carbon-Free Energy deals; resolve cross-functional roadblocks
- Track PPA delivery, enforce contractual compliance, and resolve disputes, regulatory changes, or major events
- Direct energy budget renewals, spend tracking, and variance analysis across regional operations
- Deploy AI/ML and LLM tools to automate contract intake and portfolio workflows at scale
- Define KPIs and automated executive reporting; lead change management for database and tool migrations
- Plan requirements, manage risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners and executives
- Explain analyses to executives and discuss technical trade-offs with engineers
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field
- 5 years of experience in technical program management, energy contract management, or energy portfolio operations in the EMEA energy sector
- Experience writing SQL queries, developing relational data models, building dashboards, and turning datasets into insights
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and delivering technical or operational roadmaps
