Bid Manager, EMEA Pursuit Centre of Excellence, Technology and Transformation

Overview

In this role you lead and coordinate end-to-end pursuit activities for Deloitte’s largest client opportunities, partnering with the Pursuit Centre of Excellence. You enable cross-functional collaboration to shape compelling value propositions and differentiated strategies. You ensure high-quality proposals, risk reviews, and timely deliverables while managing pursuit milestones and stakeholder communications. This position sits at the intersection of sales, delivery, and quality, offering impact through winning complex engagements. You’ll work in a collaborative, high-performance environment with hybrid Belfast-based flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end pursuit lifecycle (Pre-RFP to post-presentation) for strategic opportunities
• Collaborate with Pursuit Strategist, client service team, and leadership to craft value propositions and winning messages
• Develop and own pursuit plan with milestones and a pursuit site (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
• Support quality reviews, risk assessment, and messaging consistency across deliverables
• Share best practices and close content gaps from extended pursuit networks
• Coordinate leadership pricing, resource plans, and quality/risks discussions
• Manage pursuit meetings and logistics; support production of materials with Creative team
• Assist learning and development initiatives to enhance sales excellence across the firm

Key requirements

• Experience in sales, pursuit and proposal development
• Former consulting client service background preferred with pursuit management
• Ability to engage senior and middle management stakeholders and build consensus
• Good understanding of consulting services and offerings
• Strong project management with quality control over milestones and deliverables
• Proven conflict resolution skills
• Resilience under pressure, proactive and self-starting
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Experience with national and/or global consulting organizations
