Test Automation Lead

Overview

In this role you lead QA and automation across Agile teams, shaping the automation strategy and roadmap. You will drive framework development, standards, and best practices, while integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. You mentor the QA team and provide automation leadership to ensure high-quality software delivery. This position offers the chance to influence testing discipline across cross-functional teams and advance a robust, scalable automation platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and automation initiatives across Agile teams
• Define QA strategy and roadmap with Product Owners, Developers and Scrum teams
• Drive automation framework development, standards and best practices
• Prioritize QA activities, remove blockers, maintain QA documentation
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor QA team members and provide automation leadership

Key requirements

• Strong Quality Engineering and Test Automation background
• Hands-on experience with Playwright + TypeScript (preferred), Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with keyword-driven, data-driven, hybrid, and BDD frameworks
• Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to work independently and lead automation teams
