Overview

In this role you will support day-to-day privacy operations across the EMEA region, reporting to the Privacy Lead. You will maintain records and dashboards to ensure audit readiness and coordinate DPIAs, ROPA, and privacy enquiries. The role focuses on meticulous administration and timely execution within a fast-paced environment. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes and governance, contributing to the company’s privacy compliance posture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily privacy operations activities across the EMEA region
  • Maintain privacy records, trackers, registers, and documentation for audit readiness
  • Manage privacy intake queues and shared mailboxes; ensure timely resolution of requests
  • Coordinate follow-up actions and facilitate privacy-related activities
  • Prepare privacy reports, metrics, dashboards, and management updates
  • Create, maintain, and update ROPA records in line with regulatory and organisational requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and document processing activities
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure ROPA accuracy
  • Coordinate end-to-end DPIA process and track progress
  • Maintain DPIA documentation according to procedures
  • Serve as first point of contact for privacy operational queries
  • Support tracking and coordination of privacy enquiries from internal stakeholders
  • Assist with data subject requests and related activities
  • Support implementation of privacy policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities to enhance administrative processes and operational effectiveness
  • Contribute to privacy audits and compliance reviews for governance standards

Key requirements

  • Experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or information governance
  • Strong administrative and operational coordination skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in maintaining records and compliance documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with GDPR and UK GDPR (desirable)
  • Experience with ROPA and DPIA processes (desirable)
  • Relevant privacy or compliance qualifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM) (desirable)
