Overview

As Regulated Product Owner, you will own the lifecycle of compliant products within a fast-moving, blended office and home-based environment. You’ll shape the roadmap, drive continuous improvement, and balance commercial aims with customer outcomes. Working across governance, compliance and cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure FCA and ICOBS adherence while delivering a high-quality customer journey. Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle of regulated products, driving enhancements and continuous improvement for optimal customer experience.
  • Act as SME for regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with FCA and ICOBS across products and journeys.
  • Collaborate with Propositions, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance and CVM to deliver initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance, customer outcomes and processes to improve effectiveness and satisfaction.
  • Lead governance for regulated products, strengthening compliance and controls.
  • Own the product framework and annual review, coordinating stakeholders for oversight and sign-off.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights and competition to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Produce and interpret product MI and KPIs (e.g., complaints, cancellations, NPS) to inform decisions.

Key requirements

  • Experience in a regulated environment with governance, risk and compliance knowledge.
  • Strong FCA and ICOBS understanding and ability to translate requirements into product improvements.
  • Customer-centric mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proven track record managing complex programmes or initiatives in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data and market insights.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused with ability to challenge constructively and drive improvement.
