Technology Delivery Lead

Overview

As Technology Delivery Lead, you will steer technology transformation projects for UK health and public sector clients from design through to implementation. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across locations, manage plans, budgets and governance, and maintain strong client relationships. You’ll drive delivery decisions, handle risks and dependencies, and ensure solutions are delivered on time and within scope. This role offers meaningful impact by shaping public sector tech delivery and working with cross-functional groups to achieve trusted outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technology delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Develop and manage delivery plans, budgets and governance
• Manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies across the delivery lifecycle
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across locations, including client and third-party suppliers
• Provide technical and functional input to support design and implementation
• Build strong client relationships and align delivery plans with stakeholder expectations
• Communicate delivery decisions, progress and challenges clearly

Key requirements

• Proven track record delivering technology projects with responsibility for delivery, budgets and teams
• Experience delivering complex projects using Agile and Waterfall
• Experience in governance, budgets, risks and dependencies
• Leadership of teams and resources across multiple priorities
• Experience working with clients and influencing senior stakeholders
• Technical experience in areas such as technical architecture, solution architecture, business analysis or technical design
• Experience coordinating delivery across internal teams, clients and external suppliers
• Health or public sector experience is beneficial; interest in UK Government/public services accepted
• Relevant cloud, SaaS or industry certifications advantageous
