Overview
In this role you join a respected South West law firm’s Dispute Resolution team in Exeter to handle a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters. You will support partners and senior lawyers, manage a varied caseload, and develop your own niche within disputes for businesses, charities, institutions, and high‑net‑worth individuals. The position emphasizes client care, collaboration, and ongoing training as you progress toward a longer litigation career. Responsibilities
- Assist partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload
- Handle/dispute matters including disputed wills and trusts and commercial litigation
- Manage day-to-day file conduct and develop own caseload
- Collaborate with team, participate in training and wider firm activities
- Develop a specialism and build a recognised profile in litigation
Key requirements
- Solictor or Chartered Legal Executive with 0-5 years PQE
- Practical and proactive approach to resolving disputes
- Strong communication and collaborative mindset
- Commitment to excellent client care
