Overview

As a Senior Investment Analyst at WTW, you will help shape systematic investment solutions by blending quantitative research, data analytics, and domain expertise. You’ll refine and extend index methodologies, monitor performance and data quality, and deliver analytic tools for institutional clients. You’ll collaborate across investment, technology, and operations teams to advance WTW’s index capabilities and tailor solutions for sophisticated asset owners.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve systematic investment strategies and index-based solutions
  • Enhance existing index methodologies and monitor calculations, characteristics and performance
  • Build analytics, research and reporting to support portfolio construction and client decision-making
  • Create bespoke quantitative solutions for institutional investors
  • Translate objectives into scalable quantitative approaches and deliver with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with index providers, data vendors, calculation agents and asset managers on implementation
  • Research and test index methodologies to adapt to evolving markets and client needs
  • Develop, test and maintain quantitative tools and code used across research and implementation workflows
  • Work with quantitative researchers and broader investment teams across asset classes

Key requirements

  • Degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field
  • Experience applying quantitative analysis to investment, financial or data challenges
  • Knowledge of systematic investing, portfolio construction and factor-based strategies
  • Programming experience in R or similar language with willingness to advance R expertise
  • Experience handling large datasets, databases and APIs to produce robust outputs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail orientation
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver high-quality results
  • Excellent communication skills to explain quantitative concepts to diverse audiences
