Investment Banking Senior Analyst, M&A

Overview

In this role you will support clients in raising capital and provide strategic advisory in M&A and other financial transactions as part of Citi’s Institutional Banking team. You will collaborate with senior bankers on transactions, prepare proposals and valuation materials, and build complex financial models to inform client decisions. You will also conduct economic research and analyze performance against industry trends to shape strategic pitches. This position offers exposure to high-impact deals in a fast-paced, regulated environment, with a clear focus on client outcomes and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in capital raising and strategic advisory on M&A and other transactions
• Organize and analyze complex financial data for proposals and strategic plans
• Prepare recommendations, valuation materials, and exhibits for pitches and live deals
• Conduct economic and financial research
• Evaluate company performance against industry and market trends
• Build complex financial models for valuation purposes
• Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams on client projects

Key requirements
