Overview

In this role you lead the brand voice and multichannel campaigns, planning, managing, and delivering high-impact activities across TV, print, audio, OOH, social, display and partnerships. You will drive timely, on-budget delivery while aligning messaging with brand guidelines and compliance. You’ll lead a team of campaign specialists, partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to optimise media plans and creative execution. This position offers the opportunity to shape brand storytelling in a fast-paced retail environment and influence market perception.

Responsibilities

  • Line management of a campaign specialist and advisors to ensure on-time, on-brand delivery within budget
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy of multi-channel messaging aligned with creative and media objectives
  • Manage multi-million pound production and media budget with governance compliance
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/agencies, coaching and guiding teams
  • Demonstrate strong media knowledge by reviewing and booking media plans and interpreting the media landscape
  • Ensure creative adherence to brand templates, guidelines and tone of voice for consistency
  • Model inclusive leadership, shaping culture and effective decision-making
  • Provide succinct, actionable feedback to agencies and colleagues
  • Plan, coordinate and adapt communications for dynamic trading environments
  • Monitor competitor activity and advise content recommendations
  • Collaborate with compliance to ensure legal and factual communications (e.g., Less Healthy Foods, Unit Equivalent Pricing)

Key requirements

  • Strong understanding of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Technical understanding of media channels and production processes
  • Knowledge of Clearcast, RACC, ASA and compliance requirements
  • Critical path management and brief writing skills
  • Experience in managing marketing or communications in a commercially driven environment (retail preferred)
  • Ability to coach and lead others to deliver a common goal
  • Excellent numeracy, presentation and verbal communication skills
