Identity & Access Management Engineer IAM Okta

Overview

In this role you will shape a scalable IAM platform for a global financial data provider. You’ll design and enhance identity solutions across Okta, Entra ID and Active Directory, delivering secure authentication features and automated lifecycle processes. You’ll collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Application teams to ensure seamless, secure access to critical systems. This is a hands-on opportunity to drive SSO, MFA and governance, while improving automation and security in a enterprise-scale environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance identity solutions across Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Deliver new authentication capabilities and automate identity lifecycle processes
• Integrate applications using modern identity standards
• Implement SSO, MFA, identity governance, user provisioning and access management
• Improve automation, scalability and security across the identity platform
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Application teams to provide secure access to critical systems

Key requirements

• Hands-on IAM experience
• Experience with Okta (SSO, Lifecycle Management, Workflows and/or Identity Governance)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory
• Experience implementing authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect and SCIM
• PowerShell scripting for automation
• Collaborative approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
