Overview
As an Asset Manager in Engineering Power Plant, you will ensure engine, APU, and nacelle availability to support the fleet and deliver technical and commercial initiatives. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers, applying technical knowledge and strong influencing skills to drive projects. You will shape maintenance forecasting, supplier performance, and technical decisions that affect fleet reliability and business outcomes. Responsibilities
- Develop a transferable model to forecast engine maintenance requirements across engine types
- Manage suppliers to meet commercial obligations and maximise value for BA
- Lead technical discussions across departments and suppliers to drive optimal decisions
- Influence the financial plan and ensure alignment with technical standards and policy
- Coordinate engine, APU, and nacelle deliveries with internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver a portfolio of commercially valuable projects and programmes
- Coach and mentor team members to contribute to the business plan
- Support a high-performance team culture aligned with company values
- Monitor fleet reliability and raise improvement plans to meet performance targets
- Lead or support investigations under the safety management framework
- Prioritise workload to maintain compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements
- Report and communicate performance and significant events to senior stakeholders
