Mission & Info Systems Engineer

Overview

In this role you will support the mission and information systems team, focusing on simulation for training and rehearsal. You will help develop design options, create system models, and produce documentation aligned with aircraft mission system requirements. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver MBSE-driven designs and ensure smooth stakeholder communication. This is a hands-on, integration-focused position with opportunities to learn from senior engineers and shape mission-critical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create design artefacts for reviews
• Assist with inputs to management and technical updates
• Support model and design work using MBSE
• Help with requirements and Air System Specification
• Support risk, issues, and actions tracking
• Assist with team outputs and stakeholder communication
• Work with and learn from senior engineers on daily tasks

Key requirements

• HNC in a relevant STEM subject
• Experience in aerospace or a related engineering/technology field
• Understanding of systems engineering and lifecycle processes
• Ability to analyse and apply system design data to problems
• Knowledge of mission systems and simulation tools
