The team behind Temper is looking for an experienced Head Chef for a planned restaurant opening under a new brand, bringing together bold flavours, barbecue and a lively dining experience.. This is an opportunity to build your kitchen team, establish high standards and help shape the restaurant . The role.
- Recruit, train and develop the kitchen team..
- Lead daily kitchen operations, delivering consistent food quality..
- Work with the operations team on menu development .
- Manage food costs, stock, ordering and kitchen labour..
- Maintain excellent food safety, allergen and hygiene standards..
- Work closely with the General Manager to deliver a successful opening..
About you.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant..
- Strong skills in meat cookery, grilling and barbecue..
- A hands-on approach and the ability to lead calmly under pressure..
- Good commercial awareness and experience managing kitchen budgets..
- A passion for developing people and delivering great food..
- Previous opening or relaunch experience would be an advantage..
