Finance Manager

Location: Luton

£55,000 – £75,000 per year

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join a progressive company within the legal services industry.

Key Tasks:

• You will be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the Finance department.
• Managing a small accounts finance team.
• Supporting budgeting and financial planning.
• Managing the monthly payroll.
• Ensuring all legal compliance is adhered to.
• Promoting strong financial discipline and compliance, while ensuring all departmental priorities and deadlines are met.

This is an office based role Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm

Requirements

• Must be AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant with relevant practical experience.
• Experienced in bookkeeping, accounting processes and financial controls.
• Experience of working in a law firm finance function with an understanding of legal cashiering would be advantageous, but is not essential.
• Previous staff management experience managing an accounts team is ideal but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills is required.
