(Senior) Consultant, Business Transformation – PE Operations

Overview

In this role you will support private equity clients across Europe, delivering operational and technology due diligence, value creation, and post‑deal integration. You will work directly with portfolio leadership to assess performance, identify upside, and drive rapid change in deal environments. The role combines hands‑on analysis with stakeholder collaboration to translate findings into business impact. You join a fast‑moving team that values practical delivery, cross‑functional insight, and measurable value creation for investments.

Responsibilities

• Operational & Technology Due Diligence: build a bottom‑up view of operations, systems, architecture, scalability, and risks; identify red flags; quantify investment needs; translate findings into investor implications.
• Value Creation & Modernisation: develop investor‑ready plans across operational and technology levers (pricing, procurement, automation, cloud migration, platform consolidation, productivity, SG&A).
• Sign to Close Execution: shape TSAs, Day 1 readiness, and continuity strategies across operations, IT, data, access, and security; identify critical path items affecting timelines.
• Post‑Deal Integration & Separation: lead workstreams on synergy capture, cost takeout, footprint consolidation, IT carve‑outs, migrations, and platform integrations; work with CTOs/IIOs/engineering leads to deliver change.

Key requirements

• Experience in operational consulting, technology consulting, transaction advisory, performance improvement, software/IT transformation, or PE‑backed environments.
• Experience on buy‑side or sell‑side transactions across operational or technology workstreams, or equivalent
• Ability to translate technical and operational issues into clear commercial insights
• Hands‑on mindset to work with data, processes, systems, and operations
• Strong stakeholder management with technical and non‑technical audiences
• Comfortable working with limited data and tight timelines, and navigating ambiguity
