In this senior Technology Delivery Lead role at AXA UK, you will guide complex technology change across multiple teams to translate strategic intent into high-quality delivery. You’ll align product, engineering, architecture, security, testing and release to achieve clear outcomes, with emphasis on AI and automation capabilities and long-term platform health. You’ll operate in a product model, shaping delivery in ambiguity and partnering with senior stakeholders. You’ll drive ownership, transparency and continuous improvement while balancing value with debt and operational support.

Responsibilities
- Lead delivery across multiple teams aligning product, engineering, architecture, security, testing and release around outcomes
- Own successful delivery of complex initiatives with governance, risk, dependency management and reporting
- Structure ambiguous problems into executable plans with milestones and outcomes
- Ensure delivery supports platform health, managing technical debt, resilience and maintainability
- Explore AI for requirements analysis and digital change management
- Enforce SDLC disciplines, testing strategy, release readiness and production support considerations
- Partner with product leaders to balance value delivery with technical debt and platform sustainability
- Lead across internal teams and third-party suppliers with clear accountability
- Foster a delivery culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement
Key requirements
- Proven experience leading enterprise technology delivery in complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder management across product, engineering, operations, architecture and senior leadership
- Knowledge of AI tooling in harnesses like Copilot CLI and Claude/OpenAI Codex
- Understanding of CIO principles: technical debt, architecture strategy, operational support, resilience, long-term cost of ownership
- Understanding of modern technologies like prompt engineering, automation and agentic engineering
- Ability to lead across multiple teams and interdependent workstreams
- Knowledge of SDLC controls, engineering quality, DevSecOps practices, release management and production readiness
