Unified Platform – Business Experience – Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will empower DRW’s business users by developing and supporting tools, guidance, and applications that enable self-service technology. You’ll balance legacy systems work with selective green-field development, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust software. You will lead small projects and provide production support, including occasional weekend on-call. This position sits at the intersection of technology and trading, offering impact through practical solutions for daily decision-making. Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance legacy codebases while contributing to new features
• Lead small projects from inception to completion
• Collaborate directly with business users to refine requirements and improve software
• Provide production support with one weekend per month on-call

Key requirements

• 6+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
• Fluency in Python and/or C#
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to work with AI coding assistants to accelerate development
