Service Engineer ( Construction / Plant Machinery )

Overview

In this role you will service, maintain and repair plant and construction machinery, diagnosing faults and carrying out planned maintenance. You will respond to breakdowns and provide service reports, working closely with customers and service teams. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a company vehicle and progression opportunities within a growing, investment-focused employer. You will contribute to safe, reliable operation of equipment across a national client base.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant and construction machinery
• Diagnosing faults (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
• Carrying out planned maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns and completing service reports
• Collaborating with customers and service teams
• Working Monday–Friday with company vehicle and fuel card

Key requirements

• Experience servicing or repairing construction or plant machinery
• Background as a Service Engineer, Plant Fitter or Mechanic
• Practical fault-finding skills and knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Full UK Driving Licence
