Overview
In this role you help shape how knowledge is created and shared across the Practice Groups within a leading global law firm. You lead and develop the Knowledge Management team, aligning KM initiatives with group priorities and client needs. You drive data-informed insights from deal datasets and oversee AI-enabled workflows to streamline analysis. You collaborate with technology and practice leadership to scale KM programs and enable lawyers to deliver top-tier service. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise KM Counsel and KM Lawyers, guiding their growth and performance
- Structure and oversee engagement of practicing lawyers in KM activities and allocate workflow
- Develop and execute KM strategy for Practice Group with annual priorities and resourcing
- Distill internal deal datasets to generate market insights for internal and external use
- Monitor deal landscape and communicate trends to practice leadership and clients
- Collaborate with Technology & IS leadership to implement AI-based workflows for extraction and analysis of deal provisions
Key requirements
- JD or equivalent
- Admission to at least one US State Bar or other jurisdiction
- Progressively responsible practice management experience in legal or professional services
- Experience in a management role
- Experience as a practicing attorney with a leading international law firm in litigation, regulatory, or tax practices
