Software Developer

Overview

You join a growing FinTech team building market-leading financial planning and modelling software. In this role you will tackle challenging problems, own features end-to-end, and work with a modern stack across cloud, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development. You’ll contribute to sophisticated financial software while continually sharpening your technical skills and taking on greater responsibility. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js
• Work across the stack with React, Node.js, MongoDB and Redis
• Develop and improve financial modelling applications
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerised environments
• Use modern AI development tools to support coding, refactoring and debugging
• Review AI-generated code for security, performance and quality
• Develop automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests
• Work closely with Product and business stakeholders
• Take ownership of technical problems through to resolution

Key requirements

• Strong commercial Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript experience
• Full-stack experience with React and Node.js
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis or similar technologies
• Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Understanding of modern software engineering and Agile development
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools would be highly beneficial
