Overview
In this Clinical Operations Manager role, you will lead a Central & West Lancashire MHST, guiding clinical quality, supervision and governance to deliver safe, effective early mental health support for children, young people and families. You will grow the service, mentor practitioners, manage risk and uphold high standards while partnering with schools and agencies. You’ll shape workforce development and drive audits and service improvements, acting as a catalyst for positive change. This is a leadership role that values people, integrity and impact.

Responsibilities
- Lead on clinical quality, supervision and governance to ensure safe, consistent delivery
- Mentor practitioners and manage risk across the service
- Develop and support workforce, including trainees and supervisors
- Contribute to audits, performance reviews and service development
- Provide clinical leadership and support whole-school approaches
- Act as a catalyst for positive change and multi-agency collaboration
Key requirements
- Core Professional Mental Health Qualification (e.g. nursing, psychology)
- Postgraduate CBT training or willingness to undertake
- Supervisory qualification or willingness to complete Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision
- ≥3 years experience in CYP community settings
- Senior clinical role experience in CYPF services
- Experience in safeguarding CYP at senior level
- Experience in multi-agency and partnership working
- Experience in teaching, training and practice development
- Full UK driving licence and access to vehicle or alternatives
