Trading Desk Operations, Senior Associate to Director level – Quant Trading Team

Overview

In this role you will provide end-to-end trade support for the trading desk, ensuring accurate bookings, reconciliations, and P&L attribution while monitoring risk and funding flows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline onboarding, data integrity, and incident resolution. You’ll apply automation and AI-driven tools to improve processes and build scalable controls for a growing trading business. This position offers scope to shape trading operations in a crypto-oriented environment and work with developers to strengthen infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end trade support for assigned desks ( bookings, verifications, reconciliations, P&L attribution)
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and issues across the trade life cycle
• Develop and enhance booking/reconciliation processes using coding and AI tools
• Real-time risk monitoring and tool development for desk thresholds
• Create templates and playbooks for onboarding new products
• Set up accounts and maintain data integrity and mapping
• Handle funding operations and settlement checks; liaise with Treasury/external brokers
• Monitor funding usage and internal capital allocation
• Support trading performance analysis and risk attribution
• Assist with ad hoc requests and escalations from trading desks
• Collaborate with developers to improve system infrastructure and controls
• Identify manual processes and build automated solutions (scripts, macros, RPA)

Key requirements

• Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or Quantitative discipline
• 5+ years in Trading/ Middle Office or related functions in financial services or crypto trading
• Knowledge of AI tools and Python; willingness to expand technical skills
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset
• Positive, proactive, critical thinker with drive for continuous improvement
• Product owner mindset, results-oriented, able to perform under pressure
