Overview

As a Data Product Manager at CI&T, you own and evolve data-focused products, bridging business needs with engineering. You translate complex requirements into a prioritized roadmap and clear technical specifications. You collaborate with data engineers, data scientists and application engineers to ensure value-driven delivery within Agile teams. You’ll navigate diverse stakeholders and shape data product strategy to drive business impact. This role sits at the intersection of business, product, data and engineering, offering meaningful work at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the roadmap for data products and initiatives.
  • Translate complex business problems into clear product requirements and priorities.
  • Derive technical requirements from functional and non-functional needs for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Application Engineers.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, dependencies, and objectives.
  • Ensure clear, feasible requirements aligned with product strategy with engineering teams.
  • Use SQL to investigate and validate information as needed.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and clarify complex environments.
  • Support continuous delivery within Agile/Scrum teams.

Key requirements

  • Proven PM experience with data products, BI/analytics products, data platforms or data infrastructure.
  • Strong track record of owning and managing a product roadmap.
  • Ability to navigate complex environments and convert ambiguous requirements into priorities.
  • Solid understanding of data ecosystems and application development.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional, non-functional and technical requirements.
  • Hands-on SQL knowledge to validate and explore data.
  • Experience working with Application Engineers, Data Engineers and/or Data Scientists.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
