Technical Sales Manager / Sales Manager (Packaging Machinery)

Overview

In this role you drive new capital equipment sales across the UK & Ireland for a market-leading packaging machinery business backed by a global group. You will build long-term customer relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and operate with a high degree of autonomy. The role combines technical selling with strategic account development in FMCG manufacturing, offering clear progression within an international environment. You’ll travel to customer sites regularly and contribute to growth with an uncapped bonus structure.

Responsibilities

• generate new machine sales across the UK & Ireland territory
• develop and expand existing customer relationships while pursuing new business
• travel regularly to customer sites with periodic office visits in Scotland
• manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to close
• work autonomously to grow national footprint and close deals

Key requirements

• Background in technical B2B sales or capital equipment sales
