Overview

In this role you will lead and shape multinational employee benefits for Howden’s global clients, acting as a trusted adviser across the GBM team. You will manage complex, cross-border programmes and coordinate Howden colleagues and partners to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. You’ll contribute to the evolution of Howden’s GBM proposition while supporting colleagues’ development and pursuing new business opportunities. This is a senior, client-centric role in a fast-growing international practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of multinational clients and build relationships with senior HR, Reward and Benefits stakeholders
  • Provide strategic consulting on multinational benefits strategy, governance, and programme development
  • Coordinate global delivery of benefits programmes across countries with internal and partner teams
  • Translate client data and market insights into practical recommendations
  • Navigate multinational stakeholder environments to achieve objectives and resolve issues
  • Monitor commercial performance, support retention/renewal, identify expansion opportunities
  • Support new business activities, including pitches, RFP responses, and solution development
  • Provide coaching and technical guidance to consultants and colleagues to ensure high standards of delivery
  • Maintain oversight of deliverables to meet professional, regulatory, and risk requirements
  • Contribute to evolution of Howden’s GBM proposition and cross-team collaboration

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in global or multinational employee benefits consulting or brokerage
  • Experience managing multinational client relationships and complex global programmes
  • Strong knowledge of the multinational employee benefits landscape and challenges faced by global HR teams
  • Ability to build credibility with senior client stakeholders
  • Strong consulting skills to interpret objectives and develop practical recommendations
  • Experience coordinating across multiple countries and cultures to deliver outcomes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
  • Commercial awareness focused on client retention, relationship growth, and profitability
  • Experience contributing to new business activity such as pitches or RFPs
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to mentor less experienced colleagues
  • Excellent organization and prioritisation to manage multiple complex client requirements
