Responsibilities

• Carrying out assessment, analysis, and design activities; supporting the creation of design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Collaborating with colleagues in related disciplines and with landscape, environmental specialists, and planners
• Participating in meetings with clients, local authorities and stakeholders; conducting site visits
• Specifying and analysing survey information to inform solution development
• Developing options and supporting engineering solutions and business cases
• Contributing to sustainability reviews and low/zero carbon strategies; carbon calculations and material assessments
• Creating and interpreting digital data to analyze large datasets
• Undertaking feasibility studies and preparing technical reports
• Engaging in offshore wind, tidal, hydrogen and renewables-related studies and projects
• Providing input to project deliverables from concept through design and construction

Key requirements

• Partly completed Civil Engineering degree or relevant engineering degree; 2:1 or above expected
• Strong numerical skills and excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong independent work ethic and ability to work in a team
