Residential Conveyancer – Colchester

Overview

In this role you will handle a full spectrum of residential conveyancing for clients in Colchester, supporting sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. You will work within a busy property team, guiding clients through leasehold and freehold matters, title checks, contracts, and the exchange-to-completion process. You’ll collaborate with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professionals to ensure smooth transactions. This is a hands-on, high-volume role that relies on precise, efficient conveyancing and strong client communication. You will contribute to a culture that values inclusive, high-quality service and professional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
• Advise on freehold and leasehold properties, including lease extensions
• Conduct title checks, prepare contracts, and manage exchange and completion
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other legal professionals
