Overview

As Commercial in London, you will own the contract lifecycle for a range of commercial deals, from customer agreements to strategic partnerships and supplier contracts. You will provide clear legal guidance to support growth, product development, and cross-border initiatives. You will draft, review, and negotiate agreements, resolve issues, and advise on regulatory impact. Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, strategic partnerships, and supplier agreements
  • Resolve legal issues and contract interpretation during negotiations
  • Produce and maintain standard agreements (NDA, supplier and customer agreements, etc.)
  • Advise on special projects and new product developments with regulatory considerations
  • Provide commercial legal risk assessment and multi-jurisdictional research
  • Support strategic company initiatives with proactive, results-oriented advice

Key requirements

  • Qualified solicitor/lawyer with 3–7 PQE
  • Experience in-house or in private practice
  • FinTech, payments, software, e-commerce and/or banking experience desirable but not essential
  • Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment desirable but not essential
  • Experience handling cross-border matters and multi-jurisdictional issues
  • Strong time management and ability to manage diverse workloads
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex legal issues clearly
