Overview
In this role you will lead cost consultancy for a diverse portfolio of real estate projects within the MEP Real Estate teams. You’ll work across London, Cambridge, Newcastle and Scotland to support project teams and client success. You will drive feasibility estimating, cost planning, procurement, tendering, and post-contract management, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cost consultancy activities across feasibility estimating, cost planning, procurement, tender documentation and evaluation
- Drive value engineering, commercial management, and post-contract management
- Promote safety and uphold company values; foster team engagement and high performance
- Develop and communicate project scope, roles, and responsibilities to support delivery
- Oversee service delivery to achieve high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction
- Provide technical guidance to team members on project and technical matters
- Support effective communication and coordination across projects and teams
Key requirements
- Proven track record delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying across full project lifecycle
- Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards
- Degree or HNC level qualification
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience delivering MEP elements of work for clients
- Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
- Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
