In this Senior Cost Manager role, you guide client teams from feasibility through post-contract delivery, representing the business on iconic UK projects. Responsibilities

• Lead pre- and post-contract cost management activities: estimates, procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and final accounts
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop final cost plans for presentation
• Manage tendering process: qualification, tender lists, preliminaries, analysis, tender reports, and contract documents
• Provide timely financial reporting and valuations to clients and directors
• Interface with clients and consultants at all project stages
• Support post-contract cost variances and change control processes
• Contribute to junior staff development and knowledge transfer
• Support digital transformation of cost management through the firms software tools

Key requirements

• Proven track record delivering cost management/quantity surveying across full project lifecycle
• Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) ideally
• Degree or HNC level qualification
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of construction methods and procurement routes
• Strong understanding of contract forms (JCT/NEC)
• Excellent measurement and cost planning skills (NRM)
