Overview
In this role you will steer configuration and change management for EDF’s Hinkley Point C commissioning programme. You will work with senior leaders, technical specialists and regulators to ensure design changes are implemented safely and effectively as commissioning scales. You will shape governance and processes, support senior stakeholders, and help deliver project objectives in a highly regulated, safety‑critical environment. This is a hands‑on leadership position on a major nuclear project, with growth opportunities as EDF advances its low‑carbon ambitions.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate day‑to‑day commissioning design change activities and configuration management processes
- Represent Commissioning/Pre-Operations at key design change forums and support cross‑functional communication
- Support development and continuous improvement of configuration management strategies, processes and guidance
- Engage senior stakeholders and provide reporting to support accountability and delivery of project objectives
- Support the Commissioning Manager and act as deputy across leadership, governance and stakeholder activities
Key requirements
- Experience managing technical design changes within large engineering/infrastructure/energy/nuclear projects
- Experience coordinating engineering change governance, review and approval activities
- Ability to assess engineering impacts, risks and implementation requirements from design changes
- Experience in highly regulated engineering environments with focus on safety, compliance and quality
- Knowledge of configuration management and commissioning activities in project delivery across multiple stakeholders
