Role Overview
At Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Swindon, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic General Manager to join our leadership team. You’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our store, ensuring high performance, driving profitability, and fostering an outstanding colleague and customer culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for the performance of the store, overseeing both the Sales and Aftersales departments.
- Lead, motivate, and develop your management teams, supporting them to meet and exceed financial, operational, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Work closely with your Franchise Director, ensuring that every part of the business is aligned with group objectives, manufacturer expectations, and industry compliance.
- Take the lead on local marketing, commercial growth strategy, and staff development across the site.
Requirements
- Previous General Manager experience and a solid understanding of dealership operations.
- Commercially astute, able to drive business performance through effective planning, leadership, and people development.
- Stakeholder management and the ability to lead and influence at all levels.
- Customer focused mindset, with the drive to achieve high CSI scores and build long-term loyalty.
- Good problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to data, forecasting and performance management.
