Overview

The Pharmacy Care Group Manager, reporting to the Chief Pharmacist, holds delegated responsibilities encompassing:

• Accountable for the effective and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure processes align with quality standards and indicators.
• Project management for ongoing and future projects.
• Oversight of operational functions within the department.
• Achievement of performance and quality targets.
• Management of an Administrative and Clerical team.
• Collaboration with Operations on Business Continuity Plans and service development.
• Development of business cases for projects or service improvement.
• Budget management and analysis, delegated from the Chief Pharmacist.
• Review and authorization of requisitions for non-drug expenditure.
• Assurance of Key Performance Indicators with trend analysis and improvement recommendations.
• Reporting on Model Hospital Key Performance Indicators to Quality Improvement.
• Membership in the Divisional Board.
• Comprehensive management of administrative and clerical functions within the department.
• Support in the business aspects of Pharmacy procurement, business, and strategic planning.
