Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and reviews of foster placements to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Providing expert supervision and support to foster carers, facilitating training and development opportunities.
- Collaborating with multi-agency teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Managing a complex caseload, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.
- Engaging with children and families to understand their needs and advocate for their rights.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience in fostering or child protection services.
