Project PlannerLocation: OxfordHours: 37.5 hours per weekContract: 12-Month TemporaryWorking: Full-time, on-siteWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering organisation for an experienced Project Planner to join their PMO team on a 12-month temporary contract.The role will be responsible for creating and managing project plans, integrating them into master schedules and monitoring progress, resources and costs across complex engineering projects.
- Create and maintain detailed, resourced project plans
- Monitor progress against schedules and develop recovery plans where required
- Provide accurate project reporting, including KPIs
- Support Project Managers with planning, risk, change and cost control
- Facilitate planning meetings and project workshops
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning
- Develop and improve project planning processes, methods and tools
About You
- Strong project planning experience within an engineering environment
- Expert knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies
- Strong understanding of Gantt charts and Critical Path Analysis
- Experience with resource and capacity planning
- Knowledge of project lifecycle and formal stage-gate reviews
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Project Management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent experience
- Full UK driving licence
