National Account Manager – Electrical & Infrastructure
Location: National – Home BasedSalary: £45,000-£60,000 DOE + £6,000 Car Allowance + BonusBenefits: Pension + Life Assurance
An established and growing specialist business is looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join its team and take responsibility for developing key accounts and new business opportunities across the UK.
This is a home-based national role, selling electrical products and solutions into high-value markets including data centres, electrical contractors, rail, defence and wider infrastructure.
The Role
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key national accounts
- Identify and win new business opportunities across the UK
- Build relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, end users and key decision makers
- Develop opportunities across data centres, rail, defence and infrastructure
- Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to completion
- Develop long-term commercial relationships and maximise account potential
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service
- Travel nationally for customer meetings, site visits and project opportunities
About You
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager / Sales Manager with a background in electrical, technical or infrastructure sales.
Your background could include:
- Electrical distribution
- Cables and cable management
- Lighting
- Electrical components or products
- M&E / electrical contracting
- Data centres
- Rail
- Defence
- Construction or infrastructure
- Technical or engineered solutions
You will be commercially driven, confident building relationships at all levels and comfortable managing existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
An understanding of the electrical market and experience selling through contractors or into project-led environments would be highly advantageous.
