CNC Machine Operator
Bromsgrove | £18.37 – £19.50 per hour | Weekly Pay + Holiday Pay
Immediate Start | Ongoing Temporary Position
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a well-established engineering company in Bromsgrove on an ongoing temporary basis.
This role involves operating a Mazak Vertical Miller and requires previous experience using Mazatrol programming language. You will be machining precision-engineered components, including rings, flanges and tube-plates, working mainly with stainless steel and mild steel.
Working Hours
- 39 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- 20-minute paid morning break
Pay & Benefits
- £18.37 – £19.50 per hour, depending on experience
- Weekly pay
- Accrued holiday pay
- Early finish every Friday
- Ongoing temporary assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Mazak Vertical Milling Machine
- Programming and editing using Mazatrol language
- Drilling rings, flanges and various hole matrices in tube-plates
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances
- Maintaining health & safety and quality standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience operating a Mazak Vertical Miller
- Experience using Mazatrol programming language
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and able to work independently
