Housing Standards Officer: Inspections & Enforcement

Northumberland County Council’s Environmental Health Housing Standards Team is seeking a motivated Technical Officer to support housing standards, enforcement and private rented sector compliance across the county, based at Eddie Ferguson House in Blyth. You will undertake inspections, assist with hazard assessments (HHSRS) and help prepare case files for enforcement.

You will also liaise with landlords, tenants and partners, providing guidance and maintaining accurate records to support service
