We’re looking for a Weekend Retail Assistant to join our friendly team with Sodexo at Bulford Barracks.
You’llplay an important role in providing great customer service, keeping the retailarea well stocked and presented, and helping customers have a positiveexperience. You’ll work as part of a supportive team, helping with a variety ofday-to-day retail duties.

What you’ll do:
- Operate tills and complete all required paperwork and cashing-up procedures in line with training.
- Deliver excellent customer service and support customers with a friendly and helpful approach.
- Maintain stock levels, replenish shelves, rotate stock and ensure all products are correctly stored and within date.
- Receive and manage deliveries, ensuring stock is unloaded, stored appropriately and cages/pallets are cleared promptly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the retail area, including shelving, refrigeration, counters, bins and food service areas, while working effectively as part of a team or independently.
What you bring:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential — we’ll provide a full induction and training to help you get started.
- Good communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach when working with colleagues and customers.
- A flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to different retail tasks and priorities.
- Good attention to detail and pride in keeping the retail area, shelves and equipment clean, tidy and well presented.
- A reliable team player who can follow instructions, work independently when required and support the wider retail team.
- A willingness to work in a busy retail environment while maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation.
