We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Shrewsbury.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining MOT testing with servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a wide range of makes and models.
The Role Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations Vehicle servicing and general maintenance Diagnostics and mechanical repairs Inspect brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, lights, emissions and exhaust systems Brake, tyre and wheel alignment work where required Accurately complete MOT documentation and job cards Identify defects and required remedial work Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and Health & Safety About You Valid MOT Tester licence– essential Vehicle Technician qualification and relevant experience Strong hands-on mechanical and diagnostic skills Experience within a fast-fit centre, garage or recognised dealership Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points Salary & Benefits £34,000– £36,000 depending on experience 44 hours per week Monday to Friday plus Saturday morning– finish at 12pm No Sundays No Bank Holidays 22 days holiday Company pension Company sick pay Employee Assistance Programme Employee discounts on services including MOTs and tyres Access to training courses and ongoing development Apply today for a confidential discussion. xwwtmva
