What you’ll be doing Owning the month-end close and producing accurate, timely monthly management accounts Preparing the year-end statutory accounts Preparing tax returns, including VAT Making sure the business stays on top of VAT and statutory compliance Maintaining the fixed and intangible asset registers Running the annual audit and acting as the main contact for the external auditors Supporting the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasting Managing and forecasting cash flow Reviewing finance processes and controls and driving improvements Working closely with the wider finance team and stakeholders across the business Desirables ACCA or ICAEW (ACA) qualified Three or more years post-qualification experience Strong xwwtmva financial accounting and technical ability, with a solid grasp of financial controls Experience owning month-end and preparing statutory accounts Exposure to tax returns and audit Confident working autonomously in a standalone seat A process improvement mindset Able to be in the Brighton office three days a week…
