About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideally suited to someone who enjoys combining technical expertise, team management and client relationships. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the residential conveyancing department, while continuing to manage your own caseload and acting as a senior point of contact for clients and the wider firm.
Responsibilities
- Leading, supporting and developing the residential conveyancing team.
- Overseeing the quality and progression of work across the department.
- Managing a caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the team on more complex matters.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and dealing confidently with escalated or complex queries.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and client service.
- Contributing to business development and helping to grow the department’s profile and client base.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in residential conveyancing
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong client relationship management abilities
