Overview
As an Associate Director in our Industrial & Logistics Cost Management team, you will lead cost management commissions from feasibility to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and a senior project team leader. You’ll build strong client relationships and guide cost planning, reporting and commercial advice across warehousing, logistics and industrial developments. You’ll manage procurement, tendering, and cost control, while supporting junior staff and contributing to sector growth. Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of cost management services across Industrial & Logistics projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Prepare and present cost plans, reports and commercial advice
- Manage procurement and tendering processes
- Control project costs, change management and final accounts
- Support and develop junior team members
- Contribute to growth of the Industrial & Logistics sector
Key requirements
- Strong cost management experience within the Industrial & Logistics sector
- Experience delivering warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or industrial developments
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading projects from feasibility through to handover
- Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
- Experience in procurement, tendering, cost reporting and final account negotiation
- Proactive, commercially minded approach and a passion for delivering successful projects
