Risk Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support successful project delivery by identifying and managing risks and opportunities, with a focus on risk-informed schedules. You will work within Project Controls to integrate risk data with schedules, providing a clear view of uncertainty and its impact. You will partner with planners and delivery teams to refine risk-based timelines and support decision-making through risk analysis. This position offers a chance to shape risk practices in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and manage project risks and opportunities
• Develop and maintain risk-based project schedules
• Support risk reviews and workshops with project teams and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate risk information across relevant systems and registers
• Assess schedule uncertainty and potential impacts on milestones and completion dates
• Carry out quantitative schedule risk analysis to support forecasting and decision-making
• Work closely with planners, Project Controls and delivery teams to integrate risk into schedules
• Support risk response, mitigation and monitoring activities
• Produce clear reports highlighting key risks, schedule drivers, uncertainty and emerging trends
• Support continuous improvement of project risk processes, tools and techniques

Key requirements

• Proven project risk management experience within a project or programme environment
• Experience developing and analysing risk-based schedules
• Experience with quantitative schedule risk analysis and interpreting results
• Experience supporting risk reviews and workshops
• Strong understanding of risk, scheduling, project controls and forecasting
• Experience using risk management and scheduling software
• Able to analyse information and communicate risk impacts clearly
