Audit RI – Central London

Overview

In this role you will take on the existing RI responsibilities and grow into a shared leadership position within a central London practice. You will own the audit function across a mixed portfolio and also handle accounts and tax work, including international group assignments. You’ll lead complex fieldwork, drive the audit quality framework, and guide the team while helping run the business. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented opportunity with real autonomy in a small office backed by a larger European group.

Responsibilities

• Act as RI across ~55 audits, ensuring quality, independence, and sound opinion
• Lead fieldwork on complex assignments, including international group work
• Own and develop the firm’s audit compliance framework, cold file reviews, and monitoring visits
• Manage a general practice portfolio: statutory accounts (FRS 102/FRS 105), corporation tax reviews, and related advisory conversations
• Manage and develop the audit team
• Take on a growing share of the practice’s operational running
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within a small London office
• Contribute to succession planning and strategic expansion of the London practice

Key requirements

• Recent UK practice audit experience
• ACA or ACCA qualified
• RI status currently or clear route to registration
• Breadth beyond audit and willingness to own wider practice areas (accounts and tax)
• Ability to operate in a small, fast-moving office and influence decisions quickly
