Technical Solutions Engineer

Overview

In this role you design, prototype and demonstrate tailored GRC solutions to support complex pre-sales engagements. You collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Professional Services to translate customer requirements into compelling technical solutions that accelerate deals and drive technical wins. You build hands-on demos and automation to show how Diligent’s GRC platform integrates into enterprise ecosystems, engaging with cross-functional stakeholders and shaping technical narratives. This is a hybrid role in London, emphasizing impact through technical storytelling and rapid solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support mid-market and enterprise GRC opportunities with Solutions team
• Own the technical pre-sales win including validation, design, and risk mitigation
• Design and deliver tailored demos, technical deep dives, and POCs
• Build demo prototypes, automation scripts, and integration examples (Python)
• Develop data ingestion/transformation, API integrations, and process automation/workflows
• Leverage REST APIs to integrate Diligent with enterprise systems
• Apply AI to solution delivery
• Translate GRC use cases into clear technical narratives
• Prepare demo assets, diagrams, and materials for engagements
• Present to technical, business, and executive stakeholders
• Stay current on product capabilities and provide structured customer feedback
• Collaborate with Marketing on webinars and thought leadership
• Share reusable demo assets to enable internal teams

Key requirements

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
• Strong Python proficiency including REST APIs, data handling and automation
• Familiarity with Python libraries (Pandas, Requests)
• Experience with workflow automation, data pipelines/ETL, security tooling, or audit/compliance tooling
• Experience building demo environments or reusable technical tools
• Experience supporting enterprise or regulated customers
• Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders and buying committees
• Ability to balance technical depth with business value articulation
• Curious, proactive, and capable in fast-paced environments
